This is what makes LBA different. Members of the public walk in every week for free haircuts and beard trims, so you cut real people with real hair, real head shapes and real expectations.
By the end of the course, talking to a client feels as natural as picking up your clippers.
A VTCT Level 2 Cutting Unit Certificate plus an LBA certificate. The cutting unit is one unit from the VTCT NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Barbering. It focuses on cutting, and it is not the full NVQ Level 2 Diploma.
Assessed by practical assessments, observations on clients and a written exam.
A full professional barbering kit is included, so you train with your own tools from day one.
£2,300 including kit, tuition, assessment and certification. Pay in full, or spread the cost with PayPal Pay in 3 or Klarna. There’s no deposit option.
Cancel with at least one month’s notice for a refund minus a 25% fee. With less notice, move to a later course instead, subject to availability. Full course terms.

No. The course is designed for complete beginners, and also suits people with some barbering or hairdressing training.
One day a week for ten weeks, 9:30am to 4:30pm. Choose the Monday, Thursday or Saturday group.
